About us

Introduction to the Club

Welcome to the Pukekohe Franklin Camera Club. We are a small friendly club based in Pukekohe, New Zealand. We have a membership of around 40+ members with skills ranging from novice to pro. The club runs monthly in-house, externally judged competitions and regular workshops where the aim is to utilize the various skills we have with-in the club. At the end of the year we run a Salon competition which includes the best work from all members for the year. There are also regular outings that are organized by club members.

When We Meet

We meet on the first Monday of every month, February through to December, for club competitions and usually the third Monday of the month for workshops. Meetings start 7:30pm at the Franklin Arts Centre, 12 Massey Avenue, Pukekohe. Parking and entry is at the rear of the Centre through the double doors and then up the stairs. For security reasons the doors are only open between 7:15pm to 7:45pm. If you are interested in coming along you can contact one of the committee members for advice or just turn up on the night. We welcome all new visitors and freely invite family and friends along on our social gatherings. If you are new to the group, please make yourself known to one of our committee members.
